Infant We provide a safe and nurturing environment where babies can grow and learn everyday (6 weeks–15 months)

Toddler/Twos In a healthy and happy environment, we help children to develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity (1–3 years)

Preschool Fosters confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners (3–5 years)

Kindergarten A comprehensive kindergarten program that helps children explore, communicate and create (5–6 years)

School Age Care and enrichment programs that challenge kids and assists in their growing independance (6–12 years)

The Pickus Infant/Toddler Center offers on site child care for teen mothers who are continuing their education. Our staff members are nurturing early childhood professionals, and our environment is engaging and promotes exploration, learning and curiosity. We promote an open-door policy for parents to visit their children throughout the day. We offer on-going parent education and support and provide regularly planned on-site parent and child events, including an annual graduation celebration. We also host teen parent cafés in partnership with Strengthening Families Illinois.

The Pickus Infant/Toddler Center has a partnership with the Waukegan School District and is supported by United Way of Lake County.
