Wilmette Child Development Center
Located on a picturesque, tree-lined street in Wilmette, our quaint child care center offers an unparalleled early learning experience for children age 6 weeks to 5 years. For more than 26 years the Wilmette Child Development Center, accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, has served the local community with the highest quality early education and child care. Our center offers programs for Infants, Toddlers/Twos, Preschool and even Summer Camp, for children already enrolled in the program. We also welcome children with special needs.
Beyond our inviting classrooms, spacious outdoor playground and nutritious meals/snacks, our center is known for its sense of community. Because of our partnership with the school district, many of our children's parents are educators. Not only are the children friends but their parents become friends through our monthly parent meetings, outings and activities.
Field trips, cultural opportunities and community events occur year round and include visits to the symphony and art museum as well as in-class guest storytellers. Special programs may include yoga, clay, music, swim lessons for preschoolers in conjunction with the Glenview Park District, karate and "Handwriting without Tears."
